Celebrating West Africa and all its uniqueness.
West Africa is known globally for its production of shea butter which is extracted from the nut of the African shea tree. It grows naturally in the wild dry savannah belt of West Africa. Shea butter has been used in skincare for centuries due to its moisturising, protective and anti-ageing qualities. West Africa is also known as being a rich source of cocoa beans with 70% of the world's cocoa beans coming from four West African countries; Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria and Cameron.
This box set contains shea butter based products, a natural plant-based loofah and a Kente (West African fabric) bag.

Natural butters and oils, such as shea butter, cocoa butter and grapeseed oil have been used in skin care for centuries. Generation after generation have touted them for various moisturising, protective and renewing qualities. With the growth of the modern beauty and wellness industries, these deceptively simple substances have often been overlooked, but they’ve had a resurgence in the public eye over the last decade as people strive to find additive-free, affordable and effective products.
Anasa Skin aims to bring these natural ingredients back to the forefront of daily selfcare routines. We create products that promote glowing, supple and healthy skin using ingredients that are native to Africa. Through our product range, we provide a complete bath and body care experience.

Founder of Anasa
Anasa was created from a passion I have for natural products. A few years ago, I started being more conscious of what I was using on my skin, particularly my body. I began researching ideal ingredients that I could trace back to nature. In my discovery, a few oils and butters were noted as the keys to healthy skin most of which are indigenous to the African continent. West Africa for example, is globally known for its production of shea butter. I began sourcing these raw ingredients and started making mixes at home for myself to use. I then gifted these to family and friends who loved the change they saw in their skin. The idea then evolved to this company - Anasa Skin, which seeks to make these natural, plant-based gems available to a wider audience for the benefit of their skin.
'Anasa’ in Swahili means luxury. In Kenya where my sister lives - it’s a term used to describe the good life. It means pleasure, enjoyment, sensuality. And that’s how I feel when I use these products on my skin – it makes me feel like I’m living the Anasa life. skin.
